Nutley Village Day Just click on pictures to enlarge Our third year of doing the show, and possibly the last time as the Nutley Fete committee are disbanding. It was also possibly our strongest showing yet, Arriving in 2 groups we rumbled in from all areas north and east to find the marquee that AJ and Ruth had already set up earlier, all bedecked in England flags, and very nice it looked too. The sun blazed down all afternoon, and many a Fete goer ooooed and Aaared over the 20+ very highly polished bikes, while we answered their questions. we also had an interloper on a very nice 1953 Arial Square 4 a very tidy bike. Luckily the trees provided shade and a chilled afternoon was had while some were as enthusiastic to practice jiving. They were also stalls to buy at and face painting for the brave. As the Fete drew to a close so we adjourned to the hostelry opposite, where many were to camp to round off the evening. However I headed for home though the soft summer evening light having had a great day Great to see so many new and newish members there and happy Anniversary Judy and Peter . Bosun Some Great Pictures By Russell who took an Helicopter flight over the site you can see the line of bikes by the yellow scary slide of doom
